Our Mission
Versa Materials is building the first ever modular plant to support multi-chemistry cathode in the U.S.
Recent focus on re-igniting the American manufacturing base has spurred numerous projects to assemble batteries locally and reduced dependence on China and other Asian manufacturing sources. However, the materials to supply the battery makers remain a chokepoint in the supply chain. China produces over 80% of the world’s supply, creating a major supply chain risk.
While a few North American projects are underway, domestic production still lags far behind demand. Versa Materials Technology is closing that gap with agile, high-quality manufacturing solutions tailored to the next generation of battery applications.
About Us
Versa Materials was founded by manufacturing veterans with experience scaling battery materials production at Tesla and chemical processing facilities at ExxonMobil.
Our partnerships with University of Texas researchers and established materials suppliers enable us to produce multiple cathode chemistries and adapt to evolving supply requirements.
